UniGetUI

Free

A graphical front end for winget, Scoop and Chocolatey — install, update and remove in one place

Open Source No Ads No Tracking No Sign-up

A software management interface for Windows that unifies WinGet, Scoop, Chocolatey, pip, npm, Cargo, .NET Tool and vcpkg into one window. Search, install, bulk-update and uninstall by mouse, and export a package list to reinstall everything at once on a new machine.

Why we picked it

MIT-licensed, 26,100 stars.

Installing software on Windows traditionally means a search engine, a download portal, a bundled installer and four "recommended" checkboxes. WinGet fixed that, but it lives on the command line and most people are not going to open a terminal daily to type winget upgrade --all. UniGetUI puts a graphical interface on top.

Bulk updating is the most useful part: open it and every updatable package is listed, select all, click update, and it works through each package manager in the background. What used to be opening each application and clicking "check for updates" becomes two minutes.

Exporting a package list comes second. Export your software list to a file, then import it after switching machines or reinstalling Windows, and it installs dozens of applications in one pass with no hunting for official download pages.

It covers more than WinGet: Scoop, Chocolatey, PowerShell modules, plus developer package managers like pip, npm, Cargo, .NET Tool and vcpkg all share the one interface.

To be clear about:

  • It is an interface, not a source. What you can install and where it comes from is decided by the package manager underneath. If something is missing from the WinGet source, it is missing here.
  • Devolutions acquired the project in 2026, with original author Martí Climent handing it over; it has stayed MIT-licensed and free since. A project that changed ownership is worth watching a little more closely.
